Business Insider’s financial product cards help readers navigate complex financial decisions by showcasing top-reviewed products. As the brand’s audience grew, the existing cards failed to evolve, making it harder for users to compare options and make informed choices. We set out to modernize these cards with a design that prioritizes clarity, usability, and trust.

We set out to modernize these cards with a design that prioritizes clarity, usability, and trust.
The new experience simplifies product discovery by surfacing key benefits, guiding users toward the best options for their needs, and streamlining product details. By incorporating user research and behavioral insights, we designed a system that reduces decision fatigue and builds confidence. The redesign ensures that essential information is immediately accessible without overwhelming the user.
The winner designation was implemented to highlight the editor's top choice with a clear call-to-action. Mobile-friendly comparison tables were designed to ensure seamless viewing without horizontal scrolling, making the content more accessible and intuitive.
